A South Korean-born man who was adopted by an American couple at the age of three is set to be deported and separated from his wife and children – because his parents did not apply for US citizenship for him.
There is no way you can send him back when he fled the brutal civil war in Korea. I think I am already feeling a tear beginning to well up.
Crapser, 40, who lived in Washington with his family, was told by a judge that he must return to Korea, leaving behind wife Anh Nguyen and three children, who are US citizens.
The part he hasn’t learned yet is WHICH Korea they plan to send him to! It would be top kek to drop him off in North Korea, just for the LULZ.
Dae Joong Yoon, executive director of the National Korean American Service & Education Consortium, said: ‘It’s heartbreaking news. I’m sure he doesn’t have any idea what he can do in Korea.’
Don’t worry. Grandpa Lampshade is the director of the National White American Service and Education Consortium (aka Grandpa Lampshade’s Semitic Truth Center). It’s not racist it’s equality.
Becky Belcore, who was adopted at the age of one and brought to the United States from South Korea, said she was with Crapser in the courtroom.
She said: ‘He has been in detention for almost nine months. He’s been separated from his children. It is really hard for him.’
And she said it was ‘wrong and inhumane’ to send Crapser back to South Korea.
This is South Korea. As you can see, it’s a literal war zone. How can you expect to send a Korean to Korea and expect him to survive?! He’ll probably have to hunt his rice in the wild.
Adam Crapser got into trouble with the law after he broke into his parents’ home. He claimed he was trying to retrieve the Korean Bible and rubber shoes that came with him from the orphanage.
You see? He was already missing Korea so much he broke in his adopted parent’s home to steal his Korean Bible even though we’re supposed to feel these feels because he’s being send to the war zone that is South Korea.
He was later in more trouble for stealing cars and assaulting a roommate.
Yeah I really think we SHOULD send this guy to North Korea. South Korea is a peaceful place and has no tolerance for mi-chin-nom breaking into houses and stealing cars and stuff.
The National Korean American Service & Education Consortium says an estimated 35,000 intercountry adoptees do not have US citizenship, and has called for legislation to address this.
And by “address this” they mean “let them stay here forever because they have some sort of right to live in America because Korea is a third world country with a civil war raging and human rights are violated everyday. LOL This whole story is just funny to me. I would suggest this guy stop watching crap American reality shows and start culturally immersing himself in K-Dramas. I can forward him a list of highly recommended ones from Grandpa Lampshade’s list of favorite Korean Dramas, as a public service.
The only reason Japan has Korea beat out on Grandpa Lampshade’s tourist destinations is they don’t have maid cafes. On the plus side: the do drive on the correct side of the road.
